The other man.

Who was it girl,
that took the smile, when it was almost a laugh,
a minute too soon,
before the spark became a flame.
Who was it that stole the beauty of it,
made it look like it no longer works.
Tell me who was it,
that turned the heart of an innocent calf,
to that of a rebellious wolve?
Who was it,
that came along and put the dreams we had on hold?
Who was it that took it away,
chopped our dreams right on the bud,
suddenly made you turn round?
From the top right to the grave,
From a king to just nothing.
who was it that came along,
Took the place in your heart where I belong?
That all you want now is for me to pack and leave,
a heart full of sorrow and grieve.
Tell who was it girl,
that took the only love of my life?
(Life takes us through many things. Like a ride on a thousand mile journey on a horse
cart. Sometimes we meet mountains, and at others we encounter valleys. But the hardest
thing to face in life is seeing the person you love loving somebody else.)
